INF Worldwide

INF Worldwide is an international non-government organisation, registered in Australia as a non-profit company limited by guarantee.

INF Worldwide has its official registered head office in Australia, however its International Service Office is in Nepal's capital Kathmandu and it works in Nepal through five-yearly agreements with the Nepali government's Social Welfare Council.

INF Worldwide finds, trains and supports expatriate volunteers to work with INF Nepal and other partner organisations, including Nepali government health and training institutions and community-based organisations.

INF Worldwide has a vision to develop in two new areas:

  1. Strengthening Nepali Christian institutions through leadership development and organisational support
  2. Reaching out to some of the ten million Nepali-speaking people outside Nepal, including labourers in Malaysia and the Gulf, sex workers in Indian cities, and successful immigrants in Western countries


Seeta GurungThe INF Worldwide Acting Executive Director is Seeta Gurung.

David Stevens' term as INF Worldwide Executive Director ended on 15 October 2009. The INF Worldwide board wishes David and Carol Stevens well in the next stage of their ministry, and is assessing needs with regard to the appointment of the next INF Worldwide Executive Director.


INF Worldwide employs around 20 Nepali staff in its Kathmandu office and its Primary Study Centres. Around 15 expatriate volunteer mission workers serve directly with INF Worldwide, in addition to approximately 40 expatriate volunteer mission workers who are seconded to INF Nepal and other organisations.

The board of INF Worldwide includes representatives from all INF organisations, and three directors who are elected from among the serving expatriate volunteer mission workers.

The INF Worldwide board chairman is Reinhold Betz, a former INF volunteer mission worker who is now working with INF partner organisation Missionshaus Bibelschule Wiedenest [MBW] in Germany.

The board of INF Worldwide normally meets four times a year by teleconference and once a year in Nepal.

The board acts as the global co-ordination forum for the different members of the INF family:
