Susie Slater from Birmingham in the UK has raised £526 [US$845] for INF by competing in the Birmingham Great Run on Sunday 23 October. The funds Susie has raised will go to INF's Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Pokhara. Susie is studying medicine at university and hopes to do a 'medical elective' at Green Pastures for five weeks next year. 'I managed to beat my personal target of two hours for the run, and did it in 1 hour, 55 minutes and 8 seconds!' says Susie. 'I'd like to thank all the people who supported me on the sidelines, and all the people who donated so generously.'
